Our working target
AVALON is designing this public experience toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This is a working commitment, not a claim that the website has been independently certified.
What the experience includes
- Semantic page structure, headings and landmarks.
- Keyboard-operable menus, tabs, dialogs, forms and controls.
- Visible focus treatment and a skip-to-content link.
- Text alternatives for meaningful imagery.
- Responsive reflow for mobile and zoomed views.
- A reduced-motion mode that limits animation when the device requests it.
- Labels and text cues that do not depend only on colour.
Production standards
Client work should plan for captions, transcripts, audio description where appropriate, accessible documents and PDFs, meaningful alt text, contrast, touch targets and manual keyboard and screen-reader review.
